Fine content in which Porter complains that Stanton had declared him not on duty ,. he writes: ...[I commanded] rendezvous of drafted men in Harrisburg in the fall, winter and spring of 1862 until relieved by Genl Hatch... I want at least fair play in the recording of my military history... I will take such proper states as may be necessary. Fine.
