Description:

Lot of twelve signed items and ephemera related to American politicians and presidential campaigns. Includes: signatures of JOHN MCCAIN, SARAH PALIN, and FRED THOMPSON on white index cards; DICK CHENEY, S.P., 8 x 10 in. color, chest-up portrait of Cheney in front of an American flag; two campaign buttons from the 2008 U.S. presidential elections, one from the Republican candidates and one from the Democratic candidates; WOODROW WILSON, trimmed T.L.S. on Princeton University letterhead, 1p. 12mo., Princeton, NJ, Sept. 24, 1910, written to Mr. Lambie stating that it gratifies me very much that you should think as you do about my entrance into politics, signature largely faded, water damage on the right edge with foxing throughout; facsimile signatures from SPIRO AGNEW and RICHARD NIXON sent to constituents, oblong 12mo.; postcard from Nixon-Agnew campaign encouraging individuals to vote, shows Nixon and his family on the recto; advertisement for a speech by the Honorable Richard Milhous Nixon from the Republican Party of Tennessee, Feb. 4, 1966, 12mo., substantial brown stain on top left-corner, else fine; three tickets of admittance to the inauguration of Herbert Hoover, 12mo., Washington D.C., March 4, 1929, minor water damage to one ticket. Generally very good overall.

Shipping

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipments after receipt of payment due to the high volume of packages being shipped.
