Good pair of late nineteenth-early twentieth century American military belts, includes: U.S. Army officer's belt, 39" x 1 ¾", of black geometrically-patterned leather, fitted with a rectangular gilt brass buckle, 3" x 2", depicting an American eagle before a sunburst and beneath thirteen stars and a banner emblazoned "E Pluribus Unum"", all within a laurel wreath. Neither belt nor buckle are marked. The buckle shows minor cracking, else very good. WITH: U.S. Navy officer's sword belt, 37" x 1 ¾", of black stitched leather, fitted with two sword suspension straps, with a circular gilt buckle depicting an eagle perched on an anchor within a wreath of oak leaves. The buckle is unmarked, while the tongue of the belt is faintly marked "86". Very good. Two pieces.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
