War-date S.P., 8 x 10 in. b/w, chest, up pose in uniform, boldly signed on top left margin; JACOB DEVERS (1887-1979) American army general and commander of army forces in North Africa, also led the landings in southern France. S.P., 8 x 10 in. b/w, showing Devers in uniform and seated at his desk, signed at bottom; J. LAWTON COLLINS (1896-1987) major general who served in both the Pacific and European Theaters, and commanded the VII Corps which landed on Utah Beach and fought across France and Germany.
