Good lot of six signed items, includes: WALTER KRUEGER (1881-1967) Commanded the Sixth Army in the South Pacific and directed the landing in the Philippines, signature, rank and return address on an envelop; ALFRED M. GRUENTHER (1899-1983) Chief of Staff for the Third Army and for Gen. Mark Clark, A.L.S. on his letterhead, 1p. 8vo., 1980: "the answers would be complicated and this 81-year old gink would have trouble with them"; LAURIS NORSTAD (1907-1988) Army Air Corps general directly responsible for the two atomic missions over Japan, T.L.S. 1p. 4to., New York, 1964, concerns the effectiveness of French classes at West Point; ALEXANDER A. VANDEGRIFT (1887-1973) Marine Corps general, led the 1st Marines at Tulagi, Guadalcanal, and Bougainville, later Commandant; T.L.S. 1p. 4to., DelRay Beach, 1968 promising to sign a photo; LOUIS DENFIELD (1891-1972) Admiral who led Battleship Division 9; signature adding rank as Chief of Naval Operations; and WILLIAM H. BLANDY 1890-1954) Admiral who commanded amphibious and support forces at Kwajalein, Pelelieu, Iwo Jima and Okinawa, signature on a card. Fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry.
