Description:

AMELIA EARHART
(1897 - 1937) American aviator, the first woman to cross the Atlantic, first solo across the Atlantic and first Hawaii-Mainland solo; lost in an around-the-world attempt. Fine ink signature penned diagonally across the top corner of a small autograph book page. Along with the charming letter from a young boy requesting the autograph, Nov. 16, 1935, reading, in part: "...I am the boy who proved to be a nuisance and followed you along asking for your autograph...". Signature irregularly trimmed, but easily matted. Very good condition.
