In Sept. 39 I went to France with my Battalion and we were there continuously until May 40...eventually took at very severe knock a few days before the evacuation from Dunkirk was carried out. The survivors of this action were captured since June I have been here...", adding some social content. Badly worn and very fragile, good. Along with a map of the Battle of Bitche.
