(1893 – 1969) First civilian and the longest serving (1953–61) director of central intelligence (de facto head of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency) and a member of the Warren Commission. Inscribed copy of the Warren Commission Report, Washington: U.S. Gov't Printing Office, 1964, "...with the regards on one of the authors...", and dated Nov. 18, 1964. Fine.
