(1859 - 1935) French Jewish military officer convicted and cleared of treason in a case which convulsed political life from 1894 - 1899. Fine association A.L.S. 1p. sm. 8vo., [n.p., n.d.], to Emilie Aubert Zola, wife of the great French author and ardent Dreyfusard Emile Zola. Addressing her as "Madam and friend", Dreyfus extends his deep regrets that he is not able to participate in the Medan for Zola held each year, as he has been the victim of a very serious automobile accident. Finely penned in purple ink, very slight toning to right margin, overall very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
