(1859-1920) Russian composer of operas. Rare A.L.S. 3pp. 8vo., Moscow, Apr. 13, 1898, in French to an unidentified publisher, in part: "…I received your kind letter…I want to respond to your desire that I assist you in your work for the illustrated journals. I send you my portrait [not present]…I want to give you a short biography that follows: I was born on 24 January 1859…since 1886 I am the professor at the Philharmonic Society in Moscow, where I direct theoretical studies in musical composition. At the same time I send you three pieces [not present] from my 3rd suite 'Noure & Anitra' for orchestra and arranged by me for solo piano. I should be very pleased if you would be kind enough to have copies sent to me of whatever articles will be published…". Fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
