ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL
(1847 - 1922) American inventor of the telephone, formed the Bell Telephone Company, and established the Volta Laboratory which produced numerous related inventions and improvements on existing technology. Partly printed D.S. 1p. oblong 8vo., New York, June 2, 1891, a certificate from the American Association to Promote the Teaching of Speech to the Deaf, electing Miss Christine Christmas to the association, with all rights and privileges of membership. Boldly signed by Bell at lower right, and in fine condition.
