783. EDWIN A. "BUZZ" ALDRIN (b. 1930) American astronaut and pilot of the Apollo 11 lunar module who walked the Moon with Neil Armstrong. An excellent lot of seven items signed by Aldrin, in various format, including: two computer "mouse pads" printed with the U.S. Air Force logo, measuring 6 1/2" diameter, boldly signed in red; three commemorative color postcards titled "North Pole Expedition": I/B Sovetskiy Soyuz, July 10, 1978, signed on recto; a reprinted brochure entitled "Cospar Space Research: Photography of the Night Airglow from the Gemini Series of Manned Spacecraft", London. 1968, 10pp. 8vo., boldly signed on cover, and the front page of an edition of The Washington Evening Star, July 21, 1969, depicting Aldrin and Armstrong during their historic moon walk, signed above photo.
