Good content T.L.S. in German, 1p. 8vo., Heidelberg, July 25, 1971, addressed to the son of Paul Kahn, a German architect who once worked with the Kaiser, who was later thrown out of Germany by the Gestapo, then befriended Speer. In the letter, Speer discusses . In part: '...your 'liberty dollar' has now guided me on my trip to Norway, which turned out very nicely. There was a small incident that you may have heard about in the American press when the Chief of Foreign Police declared me undesirable. But this question was resolved positively by the representative of the responsible minister...' Signed at the conclusion. Fine condition. This lot was taken from a large grouping of correspondence from Speer to Kahn consigned to us, and comes with a photocopy of a letter from our consigner, providing some further details into Speer and Kahn's relationship.

Shipments are sent via FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option. Due to complications from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will ship with USPS Priority Mail only if the buyer submits their request to us in writing and accepts responsibility for delayed shipments. Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
