ALBERT KESSELRING
(1885 - 1960) Field Marshal in the Luftwaffe, tried for war crimes. His death sentence commuted due to ill health. Holder of the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. War-date partly-printed D.S., 1p. 8vo., [n.p.], Jan. 30, 1945, an award document for the German War Cross, 2nd Class, issued to Karl Windemuth. Boldly signed, very good. With period photo.
