AL JOLSON(1886 - 1950) American entertainer who gained fame as a blackface singer and starred in the first "talkie", The Jazz Singer. Superb vintage I.S.P. 8" x 10" b/w, a fine head and shoulders portrait, inscribed at top left: "To Harry Shirley Sincerely Al Jolson". Mounting traces along edges of verso, very light staining to left margin, but overall very good condition.
