In this important seminal draft, Christie subdivides the work into thirteen sections based on the entry of each character, developing the character independently as a preliminary process to incorporate them into a cohesive whole. This process provides interesting insights into how Christie formed her work, and bear several emendations in red grease pencil, likely in Christie's hand. Included with these proofs is a letter from an unidentified actress who likely had a part in Christie's play. A scarce, important Christie item, in very good condition.
