Rare, partly-printed D.S. as President, "Abraham Lincoln", 1p. folio, Washington, March 7, 1865, appointing Jeremiah Lothrop as Appraiser of Merchandise for the Port of New York, replacing Isaac O. Hunt. Document has moderate horizontal and vertical folds, with light toning , very good overall. Signature is bold, full, and nearly flawless -- one of the finest we've seen!

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
