ABRAHAM LINCOLN
Partly-printed D.S. as President, 1p. folio, Washington, [date faded but docketed Aug. 1, 1864 noted at top], a military appointment of Frederick Schelly as Second Lieutenant to an unknown regiment. Condition is poor, with engrossment faded and illegible, significant wear to edges, mouse nibbles at corners, folds and overall soiling and wear. Lincoln's signature about a 4/10, although that of Secretary of War EDWIN M. STANTON is clear. Offered as is, should be viewed.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
