ABRAHAM AND MARY LINCOLN HAIR DISPLAY
A fine pair of Lincoln relics, a total of about a dozen strands of hair of both Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln, seperately contained within small magnifying cases matted beneath reproduction images of the President and First Lady. An printed note matted beneath the locks offers provenance: "...Several strands of Abraham Lincoln's hair, given by the President to Mrs. Caroline Wright, wife of Governor Joseph A. Wright of Indiana, as a token of their friendship. These hair relics passed through the Wright family until offered for sale by Christie's in 1992. Ex: Forbes Collection 2002". Beautifully triple-matted, accompanied by a copy of the original Chritie's catalog description and COA. Fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
