Lincoln Cavalry who makes important annotations and corrections to the text concerning Gettysburg and Chancellorsville. Hall corrects Doubleday's account of action at Winchester, Milroy's leadership near Martinsburg, and describes the death of the first Union soldier on Pennsylvania soil. Doubleday replies to Hall's corrections in the above letter. A fine book, especially with annotations.
