Description:

A LOCK OF MARILYN MONROE'S HAIR
A fine relic from the beloved film star, three strands of Monroe's light brown hair from her early days as an actress contained within a small acetate sleeve. With a copy of a COA from Charles Hamilton reading, in part: "...January 14, 1996...I certify that I have examined the lock of...hair and contained within a transparent cover, and find that...it is an original childhood lock of hair of Marilyn Monroe. According to documentation [not present] Marilyn's mother, who was mentally unbalanced and intermittently confined to an institution, fashioned this lock...and other articles into a small keepsake display as a present for her daughter, who later gave the display to her close friend Lynn Pupello...". Fine.
