Description:

A Lock Of John F. Kennedys Hair An actual lock of John F. Kennedy's hair, about six strands, cut from Kennedy's head by his barber, Harty Gelbart. Gelbart had cut the hair at Peter Lawford's home in July, 1963, and at the suggestion of Lawford kept a lock for himself. The lock was in turn recently sold to a respected American autograph dealer. The lock is contained within a small plastic packet, and is sold with a copy of Gelbart's notarized letter of provenance, as well as with a Certificate of Authenticity from the autograph dealer. Also included are copies of newspaper articles concerning the barber and his continued service to the President. A great and very rare memento!
