Description:

A LOCK OF GEORGE HARRISON'S HAIR
Lock of three strands of Beatle George Harrison's hair temporarily encased in a screw-down lucite case. The Beatles UK national fan club secretary, Freda Kelly, who held that position from 1962 until the club's dissolution in 1970, explains in a copy of her letter of authenticity that she would go to the Horne Brothers' Barber Shop in Liverpool when alerted that any of The Beatles were scheduled to come in and "literally brush up hair as he was cutting it." These three strands come from her collection. It was sold to noted Beatle expert Paul Wane of TRACKS (U.K.) who in turn sold a small grouping to our consignor. With complete provenance.
