Good grouping of material from 1st Lt. Cherrill R. Betterton, 361st Infantry, 91st Division, K.I.A. on Sep. 29, 1918 while leading a sortie through the lines and under intense German artillery fire in an effort to locate soldiers believed trapped behind the German lines near Gesnes, France.
