1950's Autograph Book with Buddy Holly & Others
A number of pioneers from the early years of the rock era are represented within the pages of this autograph book, formerly the property of a teenager in Providence, RI. While the first half of the book is filled with the autographs of friends and teachers, individual pages include the signatures of the following five future Rock & Roll Hall of Famers: Buddy Holly (signed "Buddy Holly & The Crickets"), Don Everly, Phil Everly, Bobby Darin (signed "Best to you, Bobby Darin") and original Drifters lead singer Clyde McPhatter (signed "To Jimmy All The Best! Clyde McPhatter.) Other signatures include Paul Anka, Jimmy Clanton, Jimmy Edwards, Billy Brown, Marilyn & Gayle Shephard...The Shephard Sisters, Bobby Scholl of The Mello-Kings, Charlotte of The Tune Weavers, Margie Rayburn of The Hollywood Flames, and George Hamilton IV. Most were gathered at a January '58 concert in Providence headlined by the Everly Brothers. The blue ballpoint signatures and the 5.5" x 4.5" pages are in outstanding condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
