A well-illustrated history of the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment (Denver: Bradford-Robinson Printing Co.), approx. 150pp. folio, primarily chronicling the regiment's the regiment's pre-deployment training during 1943. Features many photographs showing training jumps, weapons instruction, maneuvers, and sports meets, including more lighthearted fare such as soldiers flirting with WAC's, unit mascots, and soldiers in women's clothing and blackface. Shows some splitting to the spine, with a pencil ownership inscription on the front flyleaf, else very good.
