‘THE ANTI-SLAVERY BUGLE' ANNOUNCES THE FUGITIVE SLAVE ACT
A copy of the rare anti-slavery newspaper ‘The Anti-Slavery Bugle' published in Salem, Ohio, and subtitled 'No Union with Slaveholders', July 12, 1851. Content of the balance of pages includes the Anniversary of the Western Anti-Slavery Society, the Christian Anti-Slavery Convention of Indiana, letters from readers and obituaries, and so forth. Disbound, with spindle holes at left margin but overall very good condition.
