LAIRD (5.75 victories) (2 letters): "...I do not think women could have been fighter pilots in WWII. The mind-set of Americans t that time would have been against it. The WASPs did a great job ferrying planes and some people thought even that was too much. I would not have wanted women in my outfit... morale problems would have been terrible..."; WILLIAM LAMOREAUX (5 victories) (2 letters): "...I can't imagine women pilots in combat, although my wife was an excellent flight instructor in WWII."; DONALD L. QUIGLEY (5 victories). Usual folds, otherwise fine condition. Together, fourteen pieces. $200-300
