(1855 - 1937) American actor known for his stage performances in the role of Sherlock Holmes. A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo., Boston, Mar. 10, 1897, on letterhead of the Boston Museum to Mr. Frisbie, in part: "...I waited until reaching Boston...before dropping you a note saying that I was sorry to miss you...The piece I am now playing gives me no opportunity to divert myself during its performance - therefore I sent word that if you could wait until I got out I would be much pleased to see you...Trust there was no misunderstanding...". Fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
