VICTORIA AND ALBERT
A pair signed documents including VICTORIA partly-printed D.S. 1p. oblong 4to., Windsor, June 26, 1863, a black bordered engraved certificate awarding a £2 prize to Thomas and Dianah Nixey at the annual meeting of "The Prince Consort's Windsor Association, for improving the condition of Labourers and others". Very light foxing, slight dampstain at bottom left, else very good. Offered together with a certificate signed by Victoria's consort, ALBERT OF SAXE COLBURG-GOTHA partly-printed D.S. 1p. oblong 4to., Windsor, June 19, 1856 awarding a 15 shilling prize to Thomas Nixey on behalf of the "Royal Association, for improving the condition of Labourers and others". Moderate toning and soiling, some edge wear, else very good. Together, two pieces.
