VERNON DUKE
(1903-1996) Russian-born composer and lyricist, best known for "I Can't Get Started" with lyrics by Ira Gershwin, "April in Paris" with lyrics by "Yip" Harburg, and "What is There to Say" for The Ziegfeld Follies as well as words and music for Autumn in New York. Fine A.M.Q.S. penned on an orange 3" x 5" card, two measures from music for Autumn in New York, inscribed to James Newton and signed adding date 1963. Fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
