UNION CDV COLLECTION
Three fine Union cartes-de-visite, includes: a great war-date, full standing with sword image of Selwyn Bickford as 1st Lieutenant in the 6th Mass. Vols. He served in the Suffolk region of Virginia for 1862 through 1863. Backstamp by Warren, Lowell, Mass., minor spotting, else very good. With a CDV image of an artillery first lieutenant wearing a kepi and artillery insignia on his jacket with medals, standing with a sword, backstamp Worms, New York, and a CDV image of the ruins of Fort Sumter, taken from the base of the besieged fort and showing iron rails with wires attached, dismounted cannon and "chevaux de frise", backstamp by Reading & Company, Savannah. Very good. Three pieces.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
