Good lot of four items signed by U.S. military generals, includes: WILLIAM C. WESTMORELAND (1914 - 2005) American Army general who commanded U.S. forces in Vietnam (1964-68), Army Chief of Staff. I.S.P., 8" x 10" b/w, a chest-up view of Westmoreland in a suit. He signs beneath the image in blue ink, adding his rank "General U.S. Army (Ret.)", a dedication and "With best wishes". WITH: ANDREW J. GOODPASTER (1915-2005) NATO's Supreme Allied Commander, Europe and Commander in Chief of the United States European Command from 1969 until his retirement in 1974. T.L.S., 1p. 8vo., Washington, D.C., Dec. 18, 1956, to a Harold J. Frankel, transmitting his autograph as requested in blue ink at the conclusion. WITH: ALFRED M. GRUENTHER (1899-1983) The youngest four-star general in the U.S. Army's history, succeeded Matthew Ridgway as the Supreme Allied Commander (SACEUR) in Europe. T.L.S., 1p. 4to., [n.p.], Aug. 17, 1955, to "Meet the Press" host Lawrence E. Spivak, respectfully declining an invitation to appear on the program. He signs at the conclusion in black ink. Reatined copies of Spivak's initial letters to Gruenther are also present. WITH: BERNARD SCHREIVER (1910 - 2005) U.S Air Force general who played a major role in the U.S. Air Force programs for space and ballistic missile research. S.P., 8" x 10" b/w, a chest-up portrait of Schreiver in uniform, signed at lower left in black ink, adding the date "May 1966". All in very good condition. Four pieces.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made.
