U.S. FLAG FLOWN OVER FORWARD OPERATING BASE CALDWELL, IRAQ
Nylon fifty-star United States Flag, 60" x 36", with stripes and canton constructed in separate pieces, and with the latter bearing embroidered stars in white thread. A white reinforcing strip has been added to the hoist, with brass grommets at each end. The flag is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity stating that it flew over Forward Operating Base Caldwell near Kirkush, Iraq on October 19, 2006, signed by two officers of the 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry. The flag is also accompanied by an A.L.S., 1p. 4to., Dec. 10, 2006, from U.S. Army Major General ALBERT JAMES MADORA and his wife Pat, to our consignors, in part: "Pat and I would like you to have this American flag as an expression of our appreciation for the support that you provided to our son, Brian, and our son-in-law Townley while they were deployed in Iraq and to our young men and women who continue to serve there. The American flag flew over Forward Operating Base Caldwell, the home of the 5th Squadron, 73rd cavalry, where Townley is currently assigned..." The flag is in fine condition.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
