Description:

The Beatles Neil Aspinall Signed Hotel Stationary Page
Neil Aspinall was a childhood friend of Paul McCartney and George Harrison, and was employed by the band as their road manager and personal assistant, which included driving his old Commer van to and from shows, both day and night. He was later promoted to become their personal assistant, and became chief executive of Apple Corp. This 7" x 9" sheet of stationary from the Royal Turks Head Hotel in Newcastle Upon Tyne, U. K. has been boldly signed in red ink by Aspinall on behalf of his charges, a duty he was often called on to perform on their behalf for fans. The Beatles first performed in Newcastle Upon Tyne on March 23, 1963, with follow-up performances on June 26th and November 23rd. Incidentally, Lennon and McCartney wrote "She Loves You" in Newcastle. After their June 26th performance, The Beatles had a rare day off before continuing on to Leeds on the 28th. One light fold, matted and framed, very good to fine.
