1299. ALBERT SPEER Scarce A.L.S. on his letterhead, 4pp. 8vo., Feb. 25, 1974 declining to attend a symposium with the U.S. secretary of Defense. In part: "...I wouldn't come...after 30 years [I can contribute] really very little. Everything has changed so much...". Fine, sold with a very early Russian postcard (1947) picturing Speer in uniform greeting Hitler. Two pieces. $150-200
