Douglas $16.00 fora Negro boy who belongs to Sarah G. Douglass...this is a distinct transactionfrom the two Negroes bought by Edwards of the Estate and is the basis of MissGlass' claim by H.L. Douglass of $14.50. This boy was sold in 1836, 37 inTexas...and for about $900 or $1,000 fixing the value of the boy at specie valueand not depreciated notes what effect will it have on this suit of Hall N.Melone for the Negroes?...".
