In part: "...I want to inspect the public buildings at Fort Hamilton [on Staten Island] on Monday morning & would like to have the Chester A. Arthur sent to the Jersey City Depot for the 6:30 train...If you have nothing better to do I would like to meet you at Fort Hamilton so we can inspect together.
