Description:

(b. 1944) Long-time member of the Manson Family and a close friend of Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme. Good was in jail with Mary Brunner for attempting to use stolen credit cards when the Tate/La Bianca murders took place, but was arrested at Spahn Ranch during the August 16th raid. In 1975 Good was sentenced to 15 years for sending death threats, and was paroled in 1985. Lengthy, fine content A.L.S. "The Bee" (her nickname, the "Bee" standing for "Blue", her Manson Family moniker), 16pp. 4to., "Nov. 24 [n.y., ca. 1980], to "CM", clearly Charles Manson, then in prison in Vacaville, Ca. An angry letter responding to Manson's antagonism, in part: "...I just got your mean letter...When [U.S. Attorney] Bill Shubb went to see you, did he look like a P.J.? When I was going to trial, I kept you up on all I was doing including the lawyer trip...he never did me wrong...We sent Clem [Family member and convicted murderer Steve Grogan] a lemon but he was weak to go for it...you might open Clem's eyes to what a scheming witch she is...Clem, Tex, etc. couldn't even hold their own for 3 years...I can hold my love & loyalty & strength a lot longer...I still trust in [adds backward swastika] but not in no people...I can't believe you're serious in saying leave you alone...If all is lost why don't we just Jim Jones out?...I was the last to know about those murders & I didn't blame you for them. I probably wouldn't have had the heart to do them anyway at that time & if I did now I'd take responsibility...are you cutting Red [Lynette Fromme] loose too?, Oh, I see, you want to cut the past loose...I've put you up to be something your not & that's a savior but that was my own belief..." Much more personal content. Fine.
