SAMUEL F. B. MORSE
(1791 - 1872) American inventor credited with the invention of the telegraph, as well as a signaling alphabet known as the Morse Code. Fine A.M.Q.S. 1p. 12mo., Dec. 30, 1846, a quote from the English poet William Cowper, in full: "Sunset and Sunrise Contemplate, when the Sun declines, Thy death with deep reflection; And when again he rising shines Thy day of resurrection. Cowper. Saml. F. B. Morse...". Light toning to bottom edge, mounting traces to verso, otherwise very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
