"Dutch" as Governor of California, 1p. 4to. on gubernatorial letterhead, Sacramento, Sept. 5, 1972 to attorney E. E. Empie, Jr., of Kansas City, writing, in part: "...I am sorry you have had difficulties with our Inheritance Tax Commission and will have someone check into the cause of it... It was good to reminisce about 'the good old days' -- something I don't get to do too often. This job has a way of closing in on you until you suddenly realize that you carry with you the state's problems and potential solutions from day til night..." Light horizontal folds, else fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
