ROMMEL (1891 - 1944) German field marshal whose Afrika Corps threw back repeated British and American assaults in North Africa, later he defended Normandy and ultimately was forced to commit suicide due to his implication in the Hitler bomb plot. Typed D.S. 1p. oblong 4to., [n.p., n.d. but undoubtedly war-date], in German entitled "Abschrift!" (copy) from the "Besuch des Generalfeldmarshall", regarding Goering, Oberst Jordan and Rommel, not translated. File holes at left, boldly signed in grease pencil, very good condition. $400 - 600
