Description:

ROBERT FROST
(1874-1963) American poet and four-time Pulitzer Prize winner, his work was characterized by homey language and easy verse forms, mainly concerning life in rural New England. S.P. 8" x 10" (sight) b/w bust portrait of Frost signed on the mount below: "from Robert Frost with affection and admiration Pittsburgh March 30, '58". Provenance: Philip and Ann Broughton (the original recipients) to a descendent, the present owner (See proceding lot). Matted and framed with signature matted in a separate window from photograph and bears some moderate toning at edges from the mat, else very good. Not examined out of frame.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
