REVOLUTIONARY WAR WIDOW''S PENSION
Manuscript document, 1p. 4to., [Maine, n.d.], from Hannah Murphy to Maine land agent Noah Barker, confirming that her husband, George Murphy, served as a private during the Revolutionary War, and that, as his widow, she received a certificate entitling her to a pension from the United States War Department, the text of which is copied at bottom. Shows extensive folds and several chips and tears, else very good. Also present is a partly-printed D.S., 1p. 4to., Washington, D.C., Aug. 9, 1904, issued by the Bureau of Pensions of the Department of the Interior, answering a request for information on the military service of Revolutionary War soldier Jonathan Willard, and listing his dates of service, his rank, his commanding officers, and his date of application for a pension. Signed at the conclusion by a commissioner, shows folds with a spot of spoiling, else very good.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made.
