Description: Very rare grouping of seven medals likely once belonging to a Prussian officer during World War I, each affixed to a medal bar. From left to right, the medals include: Prussian Order of the Red Eagle, Fourth Class; Prussian Order of the Crown, Third Class in Gold, presumably gold-plated; Prussian 25 Year Service Award; Prussian War Commemorative Medal of 1870/71; Prussian Centenary Medal; Prussian House Order of the Wendish Crown, Knight's Cross, First Class, in gold plate; and one unidentified, though it appears similar to a Wilhelm Ernst War Cross, though the enameled bird at center has a shorter wingspan. Each with original ribbon. Expected wear from age and use, some tarnish, else very good. All unmarked, thus sold as is.
