(1904 - 1955) Middle daughter of Prince Nicholas of Greece and Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia. Her sister Marina married Prince George, Duke of Kent. Marina's elder son, Edward, is the current Duke of Kent, a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. A fine pair of signed items, includes: S.P., 4.5 x 7 in. b/w, shows Elizabeth who signs her first name, with her children "Helen"" and "Hans Veit" whose names she has added as well as the date "1947". WITH: an A.L.S. "Countess Toerring", 1p. 8vo., "Muhldorf-Land, Upper Bavaria", Dec. 6, 1947, to an American intelligence officer who had been able to act as an intermediary between Elizabeth in Germany and her sister, the widowed Princess Marina in England. In part: ""...Indeed I remember your visit very well...It was a great [?] to me [?] to get in touch with my sister through you. I enclose a picture of my children & myself - am sorry it is such a bad one, but I have nothing better..." WITH: two postcards sending greetings to the same man in later years, both signed as "Countess Toerring". Four pieces.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
