PRESIDENT...AND CABINET MEMBERS
A group of four items by prominent politicians, includes: JAMES E. CARTER, S.P. 6" x 8" b/w, an image taken from a magazine, boldly signed "Jimmy" in blue ink; WILLIAM M. EVARTS, A.L.S. on Senate letterhead, 3pp. 8vo., Washington, Apr. 9, 1886, to Reginald H. Williams on the death of the latter's father; JOHN FORSYTH, partly-printed D.S. 1p. 4to., Washington, Ma. 2, 1838, certifying that an Act of Congress regarding that a copy "abatement of suits and actions now pending..." is a true copy. Moderate offsetting to right edge, small hole at bottom margin lightly affects signature; and JOHN ALSOP, manuscript D.S. 1p. oblong 8vo., a receipt dated June 5, 1752. Four items, overall very good.
