THOMAS POSEY(1750-1818) American Revolution military officer, fought Indians in the Wyoming Valley, served in the assault on Stony Point and was one of the first to enter the works, served in South Carolina and at the surrender at Yorktown. A.L.S. 1p. sm. 8vo., [n.p., n.d.], to Col. R. A. New, in part: "...Will please turn to the memo handed him from this office, dated about the 28th of Augt. last, and alter the name of Samuel Fenton to Samuel Foster... ". Very good. $300-400
