1122. PIUS XII RELIC PIUS XII (1939 - 1958) Pope who maintained neutrality in World War II, opposed Catholic collaboration with the Communists and maintained traditional Catholic social doctrine. Relic, a tiny section of what appears to be white fabric, attached to a 3" x 4 1/2" card bearing an artist's image of the Pope kissing the feet of a crucifix, with the reverse of the card bearing a prayer in Latin in his honor. With red paper seal of Card. Petrus Canisius, Vicar General of the Vatican, Dec. 8, 1958 attesting to the relic's authenticity. 200 - 300
