PEACE BRIDGE SIGN
An early 20th century embossed tin sign screwed to a wood base, 23" x 4", from the Niagara Falls area giving directions "TO PEACE BRIDGE". The Peace Bridge is an international bridge between Canada and the United States at the east end of Lake Erie. The official opening ceremony was held on August 7, 1927, with approximately 100,000 in attendance. The festivities were transmitted to the public via radio in the first international coast-to-coast broadcast. Sign bears significant oxidation but is intact.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
